Its with sadness to announce the passing of Calvin George Witt. Calvin was born in Rush Lake, Sask. He made his way west and became an accomplished millwright. Nature, peacefulness and a pool table lured him to Hornby Island, BC. These passions combined with wood carving and home building kept him here for thirty plus years. Eventually settling in Courtenay, enjoying his days at the Senior Centre and Legion with the company of his friends and neighbours. He will be missed.
