It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our papa, James (Jim) Gibson. Jim passed away on March15, 2020 with his loving family by his side.
Jim was born the 1st of July 1940 in Cumberland, BC to Ken and Agnus Gibson.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister Faye. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Judy, his children Teresa (Doug), Sarah (Brent), Ken (Angela); grandchildren Tish (Jay), Josh (Jess), Mickayla, Nick (Moira), Jordon ( Teagan); great grandchildren Brantley, Bo, Lexie, his Aunty Eileen, long-time friend of over 50 years Bronco Moncrief, as well as numerous extended family members.
Jim was raised in Bevan and later moved to Cumberland where he raised his family. He worked in the logging industry for over 40 years, spending the majority of his career working on the North Island for MacMillan Bloedel. During his spare time Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Jim was a loving husband, father and papa, he will be greatly missed.
