Norm wore many hats over the years. Husband, father, and friend to many He worked at the large M&B sawmill in Chemainus, B.C., helped survey the new highway above Chemainus, worked for John Deere dealer in Courtenay and then managed Timberjack Machines in Courtenay before his retirement. He also helped his brother Dave with his business, Dave G. Williams Trucking from time to time.
When Norm's son Charlie started Charlie Williams Trucking, he helped guide and repair equipment for Charlie. Norm was always willing to help people, enjoying the challenge of repairing and building things. He was happiest at home in Royston doing various projects and tinkering.
Norm's wish was to live out his life at his home, which he did with pride and dignity Our mentor, guide, good friend is missed and loved by family and friends.
