The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce and ̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Community Credit Union are pleased to welcome local business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members to the upcoming Business After Business networking event, held at ̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Community’s newly renovated branch on 4th Street on May 29
The event will be held from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
After operating from temporary modular offices during construction, ̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Community Credit Union is reopening its doors to the community. This branch includes a new feature called the Small Business Hub, which will support and foster the growth of local entrepreneurs.
Originally built in 1963 and last updated in 1991, the branch has undergone a significant transformation focused on sustainability and long-term service to the community. Renovation highlights include a green outdoor rooftop space, renewable wood construction materials, and a new energy-efficient heating and cooling system.
"These upgrades reflect ̨ÍåMMÂãÁÄÊÒ Community’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions while preserving a meaningful part of Downtown Courtenay’s heritage," a release from the Chamber says.
Open to Chamber Members and the wider business community, this evening will offer a chance to network, enjoy refreshments, tour the new space, and celebrate the reopening of a valued community cornerstone.
