Karen Bezaire has officially stepped into the role of community relations manager - but don’t worry, VickyTrill hasn’t gone far. She’s moved into an exciting new position as the interim general manager.

Bezaire was born in Nova Scotia and raised in Campbell River but has lived in the Valley for the past 15 years. She has long admired the Berwick community, its amenities, and the emphasis it places on the happiness and health of its residents.

“I’m really looking forward to this next chapter,” she says. “I have a degree in counselling and caregiving, as well, experience in marketing and communications and this position feels like the perfect blend of both. I’m excited to explore new ways for our residents to connect with the broader Comox Valley community. It’s such a vibrant place and I can’t wait to help residents - both current and future - experience everything that makes it so special.”

Bezaire is also a certified florist and is looking forward to presenting this passion to the residents in multiple flower arranging classes throughout the year.

Meet Bezaire at the Berwick Open House – July 10 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
