A chess tournament dubbed Chess Master 2020 kicks off Tuesday, Jan. 15 at the Courtenay library.
The tournament, scheduled for 12 months, will wrap up Jan. 15, 2020.
Anyone is welcome to play 鈥� whether you want a shot a being a chess master, or just want to learn the game.
