Coldest Night of the Year will be a hybrid model this year in the Comox Valley where participants can either walk when they want, with whom they want, or join in a larger community walk during Feb. 18-27, 2022.
Details for the larger community walk will be announced in January and will follow current COVID protocols. Participants can join as a team or as an individual. They are also invited to challenge others to a friendly competition to see who can raise the most funds.
“Last year the Comox Valley came out by the hundreds and raised more than $175,000,” said Comox Valley Transition Society executive director Heather Ney. “Join us this year to raise $150,000 to help families and individuals who are experiencing or facing homelessness in the Comox Valley.”
“We want to thank the community for their generosity last year,” said Richard Clarke of Dawn to Dawn Action on Homelessness Society. “Please join us this year as we aim to raise $150,000 to help families and individuals in the Comox Valley facing homelessness.”
