A Georges P. Vanier Secondary School grad student has been selected as a Loran Scholars finalist.
Tristan Rendell, a Grade 12 student at Vanier, was among only 72 students selected from over 6,000 applications to be interviewed at Loran鈥檚 2021 National Selection.
Rendell was selected as a Loran finalist and received a one-time award valued at $5,000 for use at any Canadian public university.
鈥淚 feel incredibly lucky to have been selected as a Loran award finalist,鈥� Rendell said. 鈥淚 would like to thank all the teachers and staff at Vanier, my parents and my peers. I would have never gotten this far without so many amazing supportive people helping me along the way.鈥�
