The recreation team at the Comox Valley Regional District are gearing up for their busiest time of year with the new fall recreation guide.

People can start signing up for fall programming in mid August (Aug. 11), but can get a preview of the programming with the new guide as it's released on Aug. 5.

The fall portion of the guide includes programs and classes from September 3 until December 31 and features activities from CVRD Recreation Services, Courtenay Recreation, Comox Recreation, Cumberland Recreation, and 19 Wing Comox.

“Fall is our busiest season within recreation as children head back to school and school routines start,” says Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services. “Our fall recreation guide has many options to enjoy including swimming classes, day camps, and numerous different exercise classes, you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy.”

Beginning Monday, August 11 at 8:00 am, residents can register for CVRD fall specific programs and activities in three different ways: online at , by phone at 250-334-9622 ext. 0, or in person at the Sports Centre from 8 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. and at the Aquatic Centre from 8 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
