The Courtenay and District Museum will celebrate Canada鈥檚 156th birthday with an open house event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 1.
Guests of all ages are welcome and can enjoy music by local musician Alan Jossul and participate in kids鈥� crafts, courtesy of the museum staff.
While you鈥檙e visiting, you can check out the new summer exhibit 鈥淒ressed for the Occasion鈥� which features wedding dresses from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Canada Day is a great chance to explore history at the museum.
