Queneesh Elementary is the latest Comox Valley school to be added to the COVID-19 exposures list.
According to the BC School COVID Tracker , there have been two separate exposures at the Courtenay school. The original exposure, posted Oct. 24, occurred on Oct. 19. This exposure has also been listed on the .
A second exposure, covering Oct. 19, 20 and 21, was posted on Tuesday (Oct. 26). A notification letter to families has been sent out.
Island Health has yet to update its exposure list to include the second exposure dates.
There have been in excess of 2,100 exposures in B.C. schools since the beginning of September, including 31 in the Comox Valley.
