Crown Isle Ladies Golf Club create three new bursaries

This year the Committee has agreed to a new, annual distribution schedule through three newly created Crown Isle Ladies Club Bursaries.

The Crown Isle Ladies Golf Club have, for several years, conducted a used golf clothing sale for the benefit of junior golfers.

This year the Committee has agreed to a new, annual distribution schedule through three newly created Crown Isle Ladies Club Bursaries. 

Bursary 1: $500

To be presented to a Crown Isle junior female golfer to use for expenses such as registration, travel and or accommodation, incurred through playing in a tournament.

This year’s recipient is Sophia Jiang, seen in the photo with Jamie Moran, Director of Golf and Head Professional at Crown Isle, and Kathy Thompson of the Crown Isle Ladies Club. 

Bursary 2: $500

To be presented to a female participant at The Park’s Junior Golf program to cover prizes and/or equipment at the end of the season. 

Bursary 3: $500 per year

To be put aside in an “emergency” funds to cover costs for any other female junior golfer who may need it.
