HUNDREDS OF HEALTHY rhododendrons are ready for the sale by Cumberland Rotarians on June 11.

The Rotary Club of Cumberland Centennial will hold a sale of rhododendrons and other perennials June 11 at 9 a.m. at the new home of Andrew Sheret (the former bingo hall) at the corner of Kilpatrick Avenue and 29th Street in Courtenay.

There will be about 800 rhododendrons for sale in many colours at $10 each, all in one-gallon pots. These plants have been made available through the generosity of Bob and Adela Smith of Courtenay and every dollar raised will be provided to support the building and operation of Jeneece Place in Victoria, a home away from home for families of seriously ill children.

Visit www.jeneeceplace.org for information about Jeneece Place, which is expected to be opened in December.
