English Through Song, now approaching its third year at the Courtenay Library, will again be offering the opportunity to improve English language skills while joining with others in spirited song.
This free, drop-in program for adults is held each Monday at the library from 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
There is a song book provided to each participant with a wide variety of easy songs, and plenty of time is allowed for explanation and discussion.
The group is led by volunteers who are experienced in working with English learners, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.
If you know someone who speaks English as an additional language and they are looking for English practice and social connection, please encourage them to visit our song circle.
All singing voices and levels of English are welcome. The fall program starts on Sept. 29.
