Daniel Erb will be celebrated as L’Arche Comox Valley’s Artist of the Month at our Solidarity Cafe on May 31. Daniel is shown here with a self-portrait he did from a photo taken on the beach. Daniel loves drawing - especially all kinds of cars – and he takes great care and pride in his work. He enjoys walking, healthy eating and playing games on the IPad and brings a quiet, thoughtful presence where ever he goes.
Daniel joins L’Arche’s Thursday “Exploring Art Together” class every week and has participated in the Art of Belonging over the past two years. We will be able to see more of Daniel’s artwork at the Solidarity Cafe on May 31. Funds raised at the Solidarity Cafe go to support L’Arche communities in the Ukraine, Haiti, Poland and the Ivory Coast.
L’Arche Comox Valley is part of an organization across Canada and around the world. In L’Arche, people with and without intellectual disabilities live, work, play and learn together.
