North Island College once again held its annual math contest for high school students on May 2.
Participating Comox Valley schools included Highland Secondary, Georges P. Vanier Secondary, Mark R. Isfeld Secondary School Ecole Secondaire, Cumberland Community School, Lake Trail Community School as well as the Campbell River Christian School.
This year, the contest included a group portion with students solving questions together.
The following students won prizes: Junior: 1st prize 鈥� Miri Fox; 2nd 鈥� Bur Lin; 3rd : Owen Pendak 鈥� Lily Collins, Zoe Henderson, Sang Won. Group winner: Zoe Henderson, Gabriella Borroughs and Kennedy Walker (one student not pictured). Senior: 1st prize: Dio Hsieh; 2nd: Matous Kavas; 3rd: Caelan Mackenzie. Group winner: Dio Hsieh, Caelan Mackenzie, Carson East and Tristan Rodrigues.
