Friday, Sept. 28 is 鈥淜idSport Day鈥� at Triple O鈥檚, where $1 from every combo sold will be donated to KidSport Comox Valley, an organization that helps financially under-privileged kids participate in team sports.
The donations collected will provide grants for registration fees for children 18 and under in the Comox Valley. Every donation raised in the Valley stays in the Valley, helping our local kids play sports.
鈥淔amilies are able to submit an application for a grant - we provide up to $300 per calendar year per child,鈥� said Jana Letain, director of KidSport Comox Valley. 鈥淭he applications can be emailed to us at kidsportcomoxvalley@gmail.com or dropped off or mailed to City Hall. Once the grant is processed and approved, KidSport Comox Valley pays the sport organization directly.鈥�
In addition to donating $1 from every combo on Friday, Triple O鈥檚 is collecting donations that will go directly toward registration grants. #SoALLKidsCanPlay.
And from now until Oct. 28, every time a Stadium Burger Combo is purchased, $1 will be donated to KidSport Comox Valley as well.
