‘A Generation of Women’ returns to Cumberland and Denman Island in May

In March, Kymme Patrick’s presentation of ‘A Generation of Women’ sold out. Back by popular demand, ‘A Generation of Women’ will be back at the Abbey Studio in Cumberland and May 10 at the United Church Gathering Place on Denman Island.

Come out and celebrate women and mothers on this Mother’s Day weekend. Kymme Patrick takes five generations of women who helped shape local Vancouver Island communities. This tour de force presentation showcases what Patrick does best. She has meticulously researched historical details and woven them into a thoughtful entertaining one woman show.

Theatre goers were quick to praise Patrick’s character representations and truthful storytelling. “We were astounded how you took on different characters and your whole face and body language would change with each one .” “You touched my heart. It is a pleasure to watch you perform.” “Kymme’s portrayal of these pioneering women was mesmerizing. I absolutely loved it!”

Tickets for either show are $20.
