It probably hasn't been that loud in the Comox Valley Curling Club for a long time, if ever.
On Sunday, July 13, psychedelic rockers Black Mountain performed in the venue, bringing with them instrumental stoner rock band Heavy Trip and psychedelic rock band Ofcosmos as support. The show was sold out, with over 100 people packing in to the venue space.
The show was put on by CVGBs, a growing promotion group that is trying to bring bigger, modern acts to the Valley and help grow the music scene.
Music fans have a lot to look forward to with what CVGB has planned. While Sunday's show was probably the loudest the Curling Club has been, one of the organizers said that it "would be that loud again."
