What better time to embrace being Canadian? North of 49 celebrates the grand tradition of Canadian Troubadours singing the songs that help define who we are.
Whether it be the anthems of Gordon Lightfoot and Ian Tyson, the songs making Rock and Roll history from writers such as Burton Cummings to the band members of The Band, the expressions of our individuality by Joni Mitchell, or wistful sonic visions of this huge land by Neil Young or Blue Rodeo….they’ll be something for everyone.
Featuring Islanders Doug Cox, Colleen Eccleston, John McLachlan, Tom Neville and Mick Sherlock - we sing on guard for thee!
The North of 49 concert will be on May 9 at Courtenay’s Old Church Theatre (755 Harmston Avenue) with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. and show at 7:30 p.m. For tickets and information, visit: .
