The ultimate Rolling Stones experience is coming to the Port Theatre.

Got Stones is a tribute to the classic rock band and will play a setlist spanning decades of hits at a concert Friday, May 16, at the Port Theatre.

“Got Stones transports the audience back to the golden era of rock. Dressed in era appropriate stage gear and armed with infectious enthusiasm, they don’t just perform the songs, they embody the spirit of the Rolling Stones,” reads a news release for the show.

The group will play songs including It's All Over Now, I Can't Get No Satisfaction, Paint it Black, Sympathy for the Devil and You Can't Always Get What You Want, right through to the band’s latest release Angry.

The group consists of Vancouver Island music veterans with a long list of projects dating back to the '70s.

Lloyd Serson stands in for Mick Jagger, Shawn Wilm plays the part of Keith Richards and David Beattie is Ronnie Wood. The rhythm section is rounded out with Cam Stiles on bass guitar and drummer Glen Santics.

"Got Stones masterfully recreates the essence of the Stones' legendary performances – playing to appreciative audiences everywhere they play, you are sure to love them too,” the release said.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $49.50 and can be purchased from http://porttheatre.com.
