Dear Editor,
In just the past few days we have learned of the traffic circle being put in place at Back Rd and Valleyview Dr and saw your article. This morning I sent the below email to city council highlighting the fact that Carolyn Rice does not speak for all residents along Back Rd and that she is using the sewer conveyance project as means to push her personal agenda and recruit support. She aims to turn back road into a dead end road with complete disregard to commuters and other residents so she no longer has to hear the traffic go past her house. I urge you to do a little research into some of her letters to council and the emotion, tone and lack of consistency and fact. Well that is at least what I read.
As always there is always at least two sides to every story and sadly in this case all city council has heard has been one side and they haven’t done their due diligence to confirm claims of any kind before pushing huge costly projects and further traffic issues to the valley residents as a whole.
