The 2025 YANA Ride wraps up with a day of fun, celebration, and community spirit at the annual Party in the Park, taking place Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Comox Marina Park.
This massive community-wide event invites the entire community to come together and celebrate the impact made through this year’s ride.
Riders are encouraged to arrive at the park between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to cross the finish line and collect their sponsor-donated prizes. Those wearing their official 2025 rider bib will also receive 15 per cent off regular-priced parts, accessories, and apparel at participating local bike shops. The top 200 fundraisers will be awarded the limited-edition 2025 YANA Ride t-shirt, courtesy of the presenting sponsor, Quantum Dental Group.
The event will be packed with entertainment and activities for all ages. Music, bouncy castles, giant yard games, face painting, and the popular “Little Wheelers” bike track will keep kids and families entertained throughout the day, while food trucks and a lively beer garden will fuel the festive atmosphere.
There’s also a chance to win big. This year’s 50/50 jackpot is growing, and one lucky supporter will take home half the pot. The golf ball drop will see up to 2,000 numbered golf balls released from a Comox Fire Rescue ladder truck, and the three balls that land closest to the target will share $5,000 in cash prizes.
Every donation, pledge, and ticket goes directly towards helping local families travel for medical treatment, thanks to the support of generous sponsors who cover all event costs.
Visit to register, make a pledge to a rider, or buy 50/50, golf ball drop, and participate in the silent auction starting Aug. 1.
