The Mountain Sports Centre, the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre, the Courtenay City Hall renovation project and Ecole Au coeur de l'ile in Comox have been nominated for Vancouver Island Commercial Building awards.
The commercial council of the Vancouver Island Real Estate board met Tuesday with judges in Nanaimo.
"It was an absolute banner day for the Comox Valley," said council member Derek Costantino, a realtor at Royal Lepage.
Categories include best commercial renovation, awards of excellence and merit, and an overall winner encompassing all categories.
The awards ceremony is April 12 in Parksville.
