Robb Nash, a true Canadian hero, came to the Comox Valley for a second time to complete his tour of the three locl high schools.

The Robb Nash experience tour bus pulled up to Vanier Secondary on Monday, June 12 and Highland Secondary on Tuesday, where he spread his message of hope and resilience. Students and staff alike were impacted by his unique style of storytelling and music. It awakened many to the pain around them and made all see the importance of making today count.

“It was the best assembly I have ever been to” was heard repeatedly throughout the hallways.

How incredible it was to see so many youths gathered to talk to the band afterwards, each with their own story or connection, and each of them feeling heard.

Nash inspired our youth and adults to make positive changes in their lives, and to think about the ‘why’ instead of just the ‘what’ they want to do with their lives.

The band also attended a meet and greet at Prime Chophouse to share their inspiration with adults, and to raise money to fund future shows for communities in need.

Thank you to Dr. Peter Parke of Tsolum Mobile Vet, Comox Rotary, the Nolan Lewis Ostegaard Music Bursary Fund, Hollis Wealth and Mindset Wealth for making this possible.
