The Comox Valley Record鈥檚 editorial cartoonist has cemented a reputation for excellence by being named the best in Canada.
Bob Castle earned first place among editorial cartoonists in the 10,000-and-over circulation category in the Canadian Community Newspaper Association awards.
The Record earned a general excellence blue ribbon in the 12,500 to 24,999 circulation category. A CCNA blue ribbon is essentially an honourable mention to newspapers.
