In Loving Memory ~
Our family is heartbroken with the passing of Amber Eve Davidson at Aitken Community Hospice on March 24th, 2025.
Amber was born in Comox, BC on September 29th, 1982. She spent most of her years enjoying the peaceful life of the valley.
Growing up Amber found great joy through dance lessons starting in kindergarten and continuing right up to grade twelve.
Amber loved the outdoors. Growing up she enjoyed many family camping trips throughout BC, Alberta and the western United States. She was also lucky to have several vacations in Hawaii, including a special one with her only child, Axel.
Amber's greatest joy was being a mother. She found purpose and strength in motherhood, raising Axel to be a loving and creative young adult. Amber fought hard throughout her cancer journey to spend as much time with Axel as possible.
Unfortunately, due to mobility issues for most of the last two years, she was not able to do two of the things she loved the most: walking on the beach and in the forest.
Amber is survived by Axel (aka Aurora) Garvey, her parents, Marg and Murray Davidson and her brother, Tyler Davidson (Danica). She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins in BC and Ontario.
Amber has requested cremation and no service. Some of her ashes will be scattered at a specific beach where she spent a carefree time with Axel.
Take a walk on the beach, or through a forest, and think of Amber.
If you are able, please donate to our local Cancer Care Unit at our hospital or to Aitken Community Hospice.
