It is with great sadness that we are announcing the sudden passing of Bruce Pirrie.
Survived by his son David and daughter-in-law Dana Carlson.
A friend to everyone Bruce was always there with a gentle smile. A camera always at hand, his unwavering eye will be missed. The countless lakes and rivers he paddled will no more see his red cedar canoe. The Oyster River and its salmon are in a better place because of Bruce, and may the mountains hold a memory of his love of skiing them.
Our deep gratitude goes out to all who saw him along the way.
