David, also known as "Klinger" in hockey circles, imparted many one liner words of wisdom to his family including; “It’s not how much you make it’s how much you keep”, “will it still matter in 100 years?” and “use common sense”. David contributed to his community through his business, Reid’s Esso, through Rotary and through organizing hockey events. David loved to travel and could always be counted on to impart wisdom and humour to his family and friends. His wife Trish, his brothers Bill and Paul, his children Sandy (Christine), Shannon (Dan), Cody (Alan), Jennifer (Trent), Erin (Ken), James (Pat) and his grandchildren all offer their thanks to Dave for being a great father, friend and mentor. Our family thanks Dr. Tancon, Dr. Napp, Dr. Feldman, Aaron Craig, Ryan George for their assistance and commitment. We also thank the staff and volunteers at the Florence Filberg Centre and The Cumberland Day Program. We truly appreciate the kindness that came our way from others. There will be a Celebration of David’s Life at the Florence Filberg Centre Friday March 10th, 12-2pm.
