He leaves behind Tannis, his wife of 57 years, son Danny (Leslie), daughter Jamie and five grandchildren. Derrick, Torry, Amber, Jade and Crystal; brother Bob (Lynn), sisters Barbara (Dave) and Vera (Mick). Dave did two stints in the RCAF/CAF. The first from 1958-1980. Mid 1990 the move was back to Union Bay where he worked in the Sports Arena until again retiring at age 70. Dave liked to travel in his truck and camper so he could take the dogs. He kept track of the news in newspapers, computer, T.V. and radio. He liked to tinker with his mowers and tractor, kept the house in repair, read, bowled and liked to grocery shop. Many will miss him and his Newfoundland humour. Following his wishes there will be no service.
