Betty died peacefully in her Care Home, The Gardens at Qualicum Beach, where she was well taken care of for nearly 3 years.
She leaves behind her daughter (Jane MacNaughton), grand-daughter (Julie MacNaughton), cousins Mary-Jean Davis, Sylvia Pal and Bruce Gordon and families, and her best friend, Elizabeth Naish of Comox, BC.
Betty was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Canada when she was 3. She moved to Courtenay with her family from Toronto in 1968 and then to Comox in 1999 after retiring.
Betty will be remembered for her witty sense of humour and conversations on life. No service by request.
