In Loving Memory ~

Ernie Anderson passed away on October 3, 2023, in Courtenay.

Ernie was born and raised in Emma Lake Saskatchewan. His family moved to Lake Cowichan when he was nine years old. After high school, he moved to Alberta where he trained to be an electrician. Then moved to Prince George B.C. where he met the love of his life Margaret. They eventually moved to Wildwood Alberta to pursue his dream of having a farm, and where they had two sons Brennan and Ron.

After many years of farming. They returned to Vancouver Island settling in Union Bay. Ernie was very involved in many local clubs and the Union Bay Church. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing at Buttle Lake.

He is survived by his wife Margaret. Their two sons Brennan (Rosie) Erica, Ashley, Ron (Bonnie) Lacey, and Connor.

His funeral will be held on October 14th at 1:00 pm at the Union Bay Community Church.
