To all the older folks in Courtenay who will remember Freddy. He was born in Bevan 85 years ago. Raised all his life in Courtenay and passed away January 20th in Nanaimo. He leaves behind his beautiful children, grandchildren and a wonderful wife named Elsie, and 鈥渕e鈥� his little sister Joanie. He was a logger all his life. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. He had a great job, a great family, a great wife and long and happy life. What more can a man ask?
