1949-2017
George passed on January 9th at St. Joseph鈥檚 Hospice in Comox, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his mother Laura Smith, father George William Bell, sisters Wendy Wilkinson and Dorothy Beck, and nephew Shawn Vandale.
George is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife Joanne Elizabeth Bell, son Joe (Angela) Bell and their children Tyler and Nathan, son Jeramy (Tracy) Bell and their children Kolby and Slayter, his sister Arlene Bell, niece Anne Beck, nephew Larry Beck, nephew Glen Vandale and his close and special friends who were considered family; Pete and Carol Nelson, Ross and Susan Docksteader, and Ken and Donna Cofield.
George was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend. He had many hobbies and passions which included Courtenay Fish and Game, as well as the Sunny Dale Golf Course. George lived an active lifestyle and will always be remembered for his humour and positive influences in people鈥檚 lives. He will be forever missed, but never forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21st at 1:00PM at the Comox Legion, 1825 Comox Ave.
