After a brief illness, Murray peacefully passed away in Courtenay, BC surrounded by family.
He leaves behind his Bride Lois, daughter Shannon (Steve Marnell), daughter Jessi (Karam Badrudin), son Mathew and oldest son Chris Miller.
He will also be lovingly missed by his five grandchildren, brothers Scott, Paul (Lesli), Doug, sister Joyce, and many In-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Ann.
There will be a Celebration of Life this spring in Courtenay, BC and one in Sioux Lookout, Ontario in July.
We thank the many health care providers in Victoria and the Comox Valley, especially Dr. MacLeod and Dr. Daws.
Murray was an avid cross-country skier, a golfer, a fisher, curler, a John Prine listener, a lover of Mead, and a great friend to all that were lucky to have known him.
