It is with immense sadness and heaviest hearts that we announce the sudden loss of our sweet Jerrica.
She will always be remembered for her positive, vibrant, and loving personality. Jerrica loved her family and friends and frequently did or made things to show how much she loved them. Jerrica had a big heart and was passionate about animals, advocating for world injustices, and supporting people she just met. She would be the first one to lend a helping hand, feed a homeless dog, and make friends with the young and elderly. Jerrica was a natural at meeting and making new friends, keeping her life-long friends nearby and in her short lifetime positively impacted many wherever she went.
Jerrica was born in Langley, BC and moved to Courtenay, BC when she was 3 years old. Comox Valley was her home, along with all her favorite swimming holes, hiking paths, and beaches. Jerrica loved nature and the outdoors and hanging out with her friends, camping, swimming, rock and glass collecting. She was very proud to have worked as a legal secretary for a local firm and volunteer work.
Jerrica left behind her mother, Danielle, her big sister, Loni (BJ), father, Chris, extended family, soul tribes, beloved dog Oaklee, and many long-time friends and new friends. She was predeceased by her grandma, Helen, and Nana, Florence. Please keep sharing your memories of Jerrica and reminiscing about the good times you had with her. She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, and her smile that would light up a room. Jerrica will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her so much.
