Josephine Taft of Comox, BC passed away on September 16, 2017 at 7 pm. Born in Liverpool, England on May 1, 1927.
It is with great sadness that we advise of the passing of our beloved mother Josie.
Born to a large Irish family she grew up weathering the Depression and WW2. After spending 2 years in Singapore she immigrated to Canada with her two daughters to join the rest of her family. Mom soon met Charlie her husband to be in Ottawa. They had been friends in England as teenagers. After living in Ottawa, New Zealand and several places in British Columbia they moved to the Comox Valley in 1990 to be with family.
Josephine is predeceased by Charles her husband of 57 years. She is survived by her daughters Pamela (Phil) and Barbara (Brian), and grandson Paul (Sandy).
