Ken died quietly with peace. 20 years ago, he retired to the Comox Valley after a long career with the municipality of Saanich within Greater Victoria.
Ken loved the valley, and all the friends he connected with throughout the years especially his buddies at afternoon tea at the A&W.
Ken is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen; daughter, Pam (Jim) children, Scott (Shelby) and Becky (Steve); son Craig, daughters, Marissa and Cailyn; mother-in-law Loyis Schmidt, sister-in-law Lori (Dave), Ryan and Desi. He will be truly missed, but loved in our hearts forever.
At Ken's request there will be no service, however, he strongly believed in and encouraged the practice of random acts of kindness. Let's do our part!
Thank you for the exceptional attention and kindness provided by the ICU doctors and nurses at the Comox Valley Hospital. The care provided helped guide our family through a very sad time.
