In Loving Memory ~
Lucienne West passed away March 26, 2023. She never stopped fighting; she was always determined to beat whatever came at her. What would have broken others Lucienne pushed through and never complained.
She was born in P茅rigord, SK, one of Lucien and Marthe Dub茅's 11 children. As a teen she worked at Allard's Grocery Store, in The Pas and later MTS in The Pas and Churchill as a telephone operator, then moved to Victoria working at Johnson Terminal as an administrative assistant.
Living in Victoria she met and later married Donald West on February 24, 1966.
Lucienne's pride and joy was her family. She loved being the center of her children's lives. Anyone who knows them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that was all that ever mattered to her. Lucienne had a big heart, going out of her way to do something special for the people in her life. She had a quick wit, gorgeous smile, incredible sense of humor and fantastic laugh. Lucienne enjoyed baking, gardening, crocheting, sewing, a good laugh and the summer sun.
Lucienne was predeceased by her parents, Lucien and Marthe, siblings Georgette, Andrea, and Norman.
Lucienne is survived by her husband Donald, daughter Teresa, son Stuart, 4 grandchildren, and siblings Norbert, Jeannette, Alice, Andi, Bernard, Ronald, and Claudette.
