At 9:00a.m. on March 3/2017 Lucy Grant left this world to be with her husband John and her daughters Joanne and Gail. Lucy lived a long full life. Before starting a family, Lucy taught at Dobell鈥檚 business school. When she returned to work she spent many years at Woodland鈥檚 Drugstore and Graham鈥檚 Jewellers.
She enjoyed traveling, dancing, curling, gardening, painting, sewing, baking and living at the beach. Her home was an open welcoming door for anyone in need of a cup of tea and some companionship. She loved her many friends and family. She was a devoted, loving, mother, to Susan (Ramu) and Lynne (Steve) and 鈥漀ana Lu鈥� to twenty-four grandchildren. She was the last Carwithen in her generation. She was dearly loved and will be missed by her whole family.
A celebration of life will be held at d鈥橢sterre House in Comox on March 25 from 2-4 p.m.
