March 16, 1977 - April 8, 2025
In loving memory ~
This week, we said goodbye to someone truly magical—a husband, a father, a warrior, and a light in the lives of so many. Robin Kelly Henry of Comox, B.C. passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 48, with his best friend and beloved wife, Vickie, by his side.
Robin was born on March 16, 1977, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He is survived by his wife Vickie, his two beautiful daughters, Sierra and Cassia, and their beloved pets, Koa and Coco. He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother, Margaret Henry, his siblings Linda (Brian) Turko, Rick Henry, Barry (Colleen) Henry, Suzi (Wade) Froese and Trevor Henry; his in-laws Linda and Vito Pavlovic, Dennis Pavlovic, Melissa Pavlovic; and his nieces and nephews: Emily, Josh (Mel), Chanee (Nick), Brook (Seanie), Lili (Aaron), Brady, Ashton, Elizabeth, and Sayla.
Robin was on an adventure his entire life. He traveled and lived all over the world before settling down in Comox with his family, where he opened the much-loved Milano Café. Robin was the soul behind that space, but more than that, he was the soul behind countless quiet moments of connection, laughter, and presence. Wherever Robin went, he made an enthusiastic and lasting impact on everyone he met—they quickly became lifelong friends.
Robin came from a lively household with four older siblings and many foster children, but even amidst the chaos, he shone. His playful spirit and legendary pranks made life lighter and more fun. He was endlessly curious, passionate about people, and always on a quest to make life better for those he loved. He was easy to talk to, a great listener, and deeply grounded in the present moment. Robin loved meditation, practiced breathwork, and constantly reminded others to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the here and now.
When Robin was a teenager, the loss of his dear father had a profound impact on him. It shaped the way he lived—with a full heart and a deep understanding of how precious and short life is. He faced cancer with that same courage, grace, and unwavering hope. Even in his final days, he was still teaching us—how to live fully, how to love deeply, and. How to keep showing up with presence and strength.
Spending time with his "three girls"—Vickie, Sierra, and Cassia—was Robin's greatest joy. He never wanted to be away from them, and he cherished every single moment they shared.
Robin taught us all how to live in wonder, how to love life, and how to promote kindness. He was, and always will be, magic.
We miss you deeply, Robin.
Your love lives on in every heart you touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1-4 PM at the Filberg Park in Comox, B.C.
