Shirley passed away peacefully at Eagleview Care Home on Monday, July 30, 2018. She was predeceased by her mother Emily and sisters Carol and Marie. She is survived by her two daughters; Christa Earp (Robin Earp) and Shelley Gummeson (Ken Gummeson), four grandchildren, one great grandchild, two sisters; Simone and Migs and two brothers; Leroy and Charlie.
Family was important to Shirley and she took great comfort in having them around her. She was very artistic and had an air for decorating and using colour. She kept everyone smiling with her wry wit.
Shirley believed in service and gave of herself to other members of A.A. of which she was a member. Her testimony was powerful and she was willing to share it to help others.
