Dear editor,
I have a solution to the coal mines. Leave the coal in the ground. Instead of opening the mines, build power plants that run off methane from the coal.
The Co2 created from exhaust is pumped into giant greenhouses to grow corn to make bio fuel.
This idea from construction from power plants to refineries for bio fuel will create several hundred fulltime permanent jobs. It will not threaten existing jobs or the environment.
