PGA Tour Canada's British Columbia Q-School, the third of three qualifying tournaments for players to earn status on PGA Tour Canada in 2015, will take place May 5-8 at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community.
One-hundred-and-thirty-two players will tee it up in hopes of earning their card to play this summer on PGA Tour Canada, which will play 12 events with $175,000 purses across Canada in 2015.
PGA Tour Canada players compete to finish in the top five on the Order of Merit, which earns them status on the Tour, the only path to the PGA Tour, for the following season. At the qualifying tournament, the winner will be fully exempt on Tour for 2015, finishers 2-18 will earn exempt status through the first six events of the season, and the rest of the top-40 plus ties will earn conditional status.
"We will have more information on the players competing as we get closer to the event, but the current field is subject to changes for the next little while," an event spokesperson said.
