Vanier’s senior girls basketball team has had an amazing season — but it’s not over yet.

After league and tournament play, the Towhees have compiled a record of 22 wins and seven losses. They placed second at the Island championships Feb. 14-16 in Victoria, qualifying the team for provincials Feb. 28 to March 2 in Langley.

The team is coached by Kaid James, a teacher at Vanier. Fellow teacher Paul Rebitt has helped with driving.
