The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the call for submissions to the Mini Maker Market at Comox Summer Fest 2025.
The festival is taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in downtown Comox. This opportunity offers local youth aged 10–18 a place to showcase their creative talents and entrepreneurial spirit by selling their handmade goods, art, crafts, and more in front of a large summer crowd.
The Chamber is inviting up to eight youth entrepreneurs to set up their wares within the Chamber's designated booth space at the festival. This is an excellent chance for young entrepreneurs to gain valuable business experience in a friendly and supportive environment.
The Mini Maker Market offers local youth aged 10–18 the chance to participate in this exciting event with a free vendor space, including half of a 6' table to display their products. Participants will have the opportunity to sell and interact with customers at a high-traffic event, gaining valuable experience in a real-world business setting.
In preparation for success, there will be a one-hour orientation and business skills training session on June 19 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Comox Valley Chamber Business Hub. Youth participants must be able to attend this session, bring their own products and display items, and come with plenty of enthusiasm. The deadline to apply is Friday, June 13, 2025, and as spots are limited, early application is encouraged to secure a place. To apply, email your interest to hello@comoxvalleychamber.com.
