442 squadron to perform fly-by over Comox Valley hospital to salute COVID-19 workers

If you see or hear the Search and Rescue chopper at dinnertime tonight, no need to worry; it’s a strictly a show of community spirit.

442 Squadron will be doing a fly-by over the North Island Hospital Comox Valley campus tonight (Tuesday, April 7) in a show of support and appreciation for all the medical staff and frontline workers putting their lives at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.

19 Wing Comox Public Affairs officer, Lt. Alexandra Hejduk, said this is a one-time event.

The fly-by will take place at 7 p.m.
