Christoph Real Estate Group, Robbins & Company CPAs, and Fresh Coast Investments Inc. supported our local Habitat for Humanity’s holiday donation campaign with a $7,500 matching commitment. Thanks to the generosity of the community and these matching sponsors, over $24,000 was raised towards Habitat’s affordable housing projects in Courtenay and Campbell River. Recently, three grateful youth from 19 Seal Bay Traditional Scouting Group BPSA were delighted to be given a terrific first aid kit for future camps and outings. Gifted by Kevin Ruston, Pharmasave store owner and pharmacist. Ronan Williams -Timber Wolf , Kevin Ruston - Pharmasave, Hunter Snow -Timber Wolf, and Jorja Williams - Otter.

The Kingfisher Resort team recently presented a $10,000 cheque to the YANA Comox Valley team and board. The money was raised through donations collected during the inaugural Winter Garden Lights festival.

Woofy’s recently gave the St. John’s Therapy Dogs program a cheque for $328, funds raised through the Santa Paws Donation program.

A cheque for $1,252.10 was presented by the Auxiliary Society for Comox Valley Healthcare to The Views for resident activity programming. This money was collected through a coin jar located at the St. Joseph’s Thrift Store.
