The bursaries are given each year to secondary school grad students who are going on to a post-secondary education in the fine arts.

The Comox Valley Child Development Association was a huge benefactor of the COBS grand opening in Driftwood Mall. The owners of COBS donated all of their sales proceeds for the day to the CVCDA, accounting for a grand total of $4,548.28.
