Everybody Deserves A Smile (EDAS) is a ‘Kindness Care Package Project’ that was started 16 years ago.
Headquartered at Ecole Puntledge Park Elementary in Courtenay, the aim is to educate and create with students and communities in an artistic way, hoping to reach out to those in need at Christmas.
The project is seeking woolen or part wool socks, toques, gloves/mitts, scrves/neckwarmers, extra large sizes for men, and medium izes for women.
Collections are being accepted from Nov. 15-Dec. 9.
Partnering Comox Valley schools include Aspen, Arden, Brooklyn, Courtenay Elementary, Cumberland Community School, École Robb Road, Glacier View Secondary Centre, G.P. Vanier Secondary, Heritage Online Christian School, Highland Secondary, Huband Park, Lake Trail Middle School, Mark Isfeld Secondary, Navigate NIDES, Queenesh, Royston Elementary and Valley View Elementary.
